Black and white, blurry, grainy images have been on my mind for the past year. The imperfection of it makes it feel like action is happening, and the camera just barely caught it. Perfection is overrated.

Not long after I started shooting for VIP Wichita Magazine last fall, I pitched this concept to the editor and fashion director. Six months later, it’s in print. Thank you to Tousled and Beauty Call Makeup for bringing some darkness and edge to the models’ looks.
